Hi Friends! Mother’s day is coming up and if you are wondering what to do for your beloved mama this year, I’ve put together a list of Mother’s Day gift ideas to help get you started. Whether you’re celebrating in person or afar, here are a few ideas that are sure to make her feel loved. ????
Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
If you are lucky enough to celebrate with your mom in person, here are some fun “experience” ideas that she might enjoy. You might actually do these together on Mother’s Day, or you could give her a gift certificate or a “coupon” for a date in the future:
- Go for a mani/pedi together
- Get mother-daughter massages!
- Go out to brunch/lunch at a favorite restaurant
- Spend the Day Together – Maybe a coffee date, a hike, a picnic, a walk on the beach, or lunch and window shopping in a favorite neighborhood. If Mother’s Day is already planned or too busy, you can make it a date for a day in the future. Moms always love quality time together!
Here’s a cute free printable coupon you can use, too!
If time in person isn’t an option, or you’d rather give her something she can hold, here are some great Mother’s Day gift ideas (and maybe a few things for you, too!) :
- Favorite bottle of wine or champagne and pretty wine glasses or an insulated tumbler
- Her favorite coffee or tea or a gift certificate to her favorite tea/coffee house and a nice mug or tumbler.
- Personalized gifts – Shutterfly has great options for personalized gifts perfect for mom or grandma: mugs, water bottle, photo books, magnets, phone cases, etc.
- Custom jewelry – I love Etsy for beautiful and unique gift ideas. Love this custom engraved necklace.
- Framed artwork – What about putting your little Picasso’s to work to make adorable artwork for Grandma? Put it in a nice frame so she can add it to her gallery.
- Comfy Slippers – perfect springtime slippers for pampering mom.
- Face roller and Gua Sha Stone – for the ultimate skin pampering. Gua what? I learned about this little beauty tool from my acupuncturist and I love it! It’s great for depuffing and massaging the skin for better drainage and circulation. Don’t have the roller yet, but it’s on my wish list. 😉
- Cozy Sweatshirt – cute and mom approved!
- Monogrammed Tote Bag – because we moms carry all the things. So many great uses!
- Flowers and a Card – A classic, but she’ll love it. (Unless she’s not into flowers.) Also, home-made cards are always a great idea.

With Love,
After just attending a Broadway show recently, I think it would be fun to take my Mom to the theatre for a Mother- Daughter night out. My Mom doesn’t need “things” anymore, so an experience like the theatre would be a great alternative 🙂
Great idea! Love it!
