Hi Friends! Happy January! I hope you enjoyed the holidays and the new year is going well for you so far. After Christmas and New Year’s, as depressing as it is to have to take down and put away all the holiday decorations, it does (eventually) feel really good to start the year off with a clean slate and a clean, organized house. So in today’s post, I’m sharing all my favorite organizing products to help us start the new year right!

The following is list of all the things I use to keep the clutter at bay and stay organized throughout the house!
Calendars
First up is getting your year organized with new calendars. Here are the ones I’m using this year:
I love having a wall calendar in a place like the kitchen where everyone can reference it, but I also have a planner for keeping track of my personal calendar and to-do list. I’m old school and like paper planners and calendars, but you can always go with a digital version if you’d prefer. Once you’ve found the calendar/planner/apps you like, make sure to fill them in so you’ll be prepared for the year ahead!
Kitchen Organization
The kitchen is the one place where there is always room for improvement when it comes to organization. And products that not only organize, but also look nice, are my favorite. Here are some of the products I’m currently using in my kitchen:
The cereal containers, fridge bins and tea organizer are great for keeping everything contained and easy to see. And it’s just so much better-looking when everything is in nice, clear holders rather than a bunch of cardboard boxes. I got the under-sink organizers in December, and I am so happy with them. I was inspired by this Home Edit reel on Instagram, and honestly, I don’t know why I didn’t think of getting rid of the ginormous box that our trash bags were in, but it’s made a huge difference and I love having the extra space! Sadly, I didn’t take a before picture, but here is the finished result:
Over-the-Door Organizers
These over-the-door organizers have been game-changers in our house! The one with hooks and baskets is perfect for our coat closet door and serves as a landing area for purses, keys, sunglasses, bags, umbrellas, etc. (It’s not the exact one I have, but it’s close.) The cap rack has been great for corralling all the baseball caps the boys have accumulated over the years. They each have one on the back of their bedroom door and it makes it so easy to keep them organized and ready to wear!
Cart-Style Organizers
We have two different cart-style organizers in the house: one is for organizing the boys’ school supplies as a handy homework station, and the other keeps all our laundry products organized. The slim design of the laundry cart is the perfect size for fitting in the narrow space between the washing machine and the wall.
Car Organizers
I love having a clean car! These items are all great for keeping everything organized and easily accessible. I use the trunk organizer mainly for storing back-up and emergency items like water bottles, snacks, extra clothes, and blankets, etc. The backseat organizers are great for car trips and keeping snacks, drinks, tissues, wipes and kids’ stuff within easy reach. And the trash can is an absolute must for keeping every and anything off the seats and floor. (Of course I still have to do regular sweeps of the back seat to get all the things that don’t make it in the trash can.) Also, how cute is the car document wallet? Love it for keeping registration and insurance info handy in the glove compartment. For more tips on what every mom needs in her car, click here!
Other Organizers
These are some other organizers I have around the house that I use on a daily basis. Isn’t this jewelry tree so pretty? I keep all of my necklaces and bracelets on it so they’re easy to find, and it keeps everything from getting tangled. The drawer organizers are a must-have staple of mine and I have different smaller sets in several places: in the junk drawer, my makeup drawer and in the kids’ bathroom. They are the best and keep everything so neat and tidy! The electronics/cord organizer is also great for keeping track of all the extra/random cords in the house so they don’t get lost. And for organizing paper, files and bills, I have a desktop file holder. The one I’m currently using is getting pretty old and falling apart, so I might replace it soon with something like this one. I love the nice finishes and all the different compartments. Pus, it looks pretty sturdy!
