Amazon Prime Day 2022

Hi friends! Guess what?! Amazon Prime Day is here! Are you excited?

If you don’t know what Amazon Prime Day is, you should get excited because there are lots of awesome deals to be had, so let’s talk about everything Prime and how to make the most of it.

What is Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day goes from Tuesday, July 12 through Wednesday, July 13 2022 during which Amazon offers some of its best ever deals on all types of products. Expect big discounts on big ticket items as well as great prices and limited-time-only deals on everything from tech, to home and kitchen to popular fashion items. It’s like Christmas in July! If you are one of those super awesome pre-planners (which I am not), you could actually get a leg up on some of your Christmas shopping and be sitting pretty come December.

Amazon Prime Membership

First of all, in order to take advantage of any Prime Day deals, you need to be a Prime member, so if you are not already enrolled, you can click here to sign up and receive a 30 day free trial. The benefits of an Amazon Prime membership are numerous and include:

I honestly think I might be on Amazon just about every day and do not know what I would do anymore without a Prime Membership. It is the best thing ever. The free 2-day or less (sometimes freakishly fast) delivery is worth the price of admission alone, but all of the other bonuses make it a no-brainer.

So what kind of deals might you find on Prime Day? Expect big discounts on Amazon brand products like Fire TV sticks, Kindle Fire Tablets, and the Echo dot.

Another good idea is to consider stocking up if you need things like new towels and bed sheets to take advantage of discounts on Amazon bedding and bath essentials .

And if you’re looking for some great prices on cute summer dresses, sandals or swimwear, Prime Day Fashion deals are definitely worth checking out.

Typically, other great deals can be found in home and kitchen appliances, back to school items, and electronics.

Amazon posts some of their deals (especially on their Amazon brand products) ahead of time, but most deals aren’t announced until the day of, so you just have to check in and stay alert if there is something specific you are looking for. Keep an eye out for lightning deals too, which are limited-time promotions that run out after a certain time period or the item sells out. My best advice is to put items you really want in your cart and then keep checking in to see if they go on sale.
