The countdown to Christmas is on! How is everyone doing? Do you have most of your shopping done or do you have some—or a lot—more to do? In either case, I’ve put some recommendations together to help you check more names off your list. And, all of the gift ideas in this list are available on Amazon, so you can take advantage of speedy delivery times and get those packages to your door (or someone else’s) asap.
Plus, the majority of these items are things that I personally own, so I feel pretty confident recommending them to you. But, of course, I always recommend checking out the reviews if you’re unsure about anything.

Cozy Cardigan
I love this cardigan because it has that just-right relaxed style and is so darn cozy! And pockets! Super warm and comfortable and perfect for wearing during the colder months. It also comes in lots of great colors. I have it in green but I may need to add one or two more….
Muk Luks Boots
My friend Amber turned me on to these boots and I just love them! They are like a warm, cozy sweater for your feet! Muk Luks also make shorter booties (and slippers) if that is more your style, but I love the tall boots for pairing with skinny jeans or leggings. I own this pair in black and off-white, but there are other color options available as well.
Layered Necklace
This necklace is so pretty and classy. I don’t own this exact piece, but I have one in a similar style that I wear all the time. I just love the look of a layered necklace and how it can be dressed up or down.
Oil diffuser
Oil diffusers are so nice for adding a little scent and aromatherapy to a room when you can’t or don’t want to burn candles. I love that you can have it running on and off throughout the day–or night–to give the room a relaxing subtle aroma, and not have to worry about leaving flames unattended. Most models come with color-changing lights that can be used as a night light too.
Essential oil set
This is a great set that I have used in the past and re-purchased as I’ve run out. It includes some of the most popular scents that are really great on their own, or blended together. Plus, the packaging is really nice for gift-giving. In addition to this set, I love this Germ fighter essential oil for its Christmassy, cinnamon & clove scent, plus its germ-fighting ingredients, which is a great dupe for the Young Living Thieves blend.
Electric Wine Opener
This has been my go-to wine opener for the last 5 years or so and it is still going strong! It takes all the frustration out of uncorking a bottle of wine and is so easy peasy that you can be pouring yourself a glass within 30 seconds of opening! Plus, it’s actually kinda fun. The included foil cutter is a nice bonus.
Insulated Wine Tote
This handy little carrier is perfect for outings, picnics or going to dinner at a friend’s house. It comes in different styles and colors and also includes a wine opener. And, since it is insulated, you can use it to carry cans of beer, soda, or seltzer, too. I love it and use it all the time!
Insulated Can/Bottle Coolers
Our whole neighborhood is a fan of these insulated can/bottle coolers. The fact that they come in a set of four makes them perfect for entertaining and sharing with friends. The set comes in a variety of cool colors so drinks don’t get mixed up, but the best part is that they fit glass bottles, regular sized cans and skinny cans! My friend Jen got us hooked on these and says she always keeps a set on hand because they make such great gifts. We purchased ours at Costco because they have the best price (especially if there’s a sale) but as they are somewhat of a seasonal item, they aren’t always available. But if you see them at Costco – buy them!
Champagne Flutes
How fun and pretty are these champagne glasses? These would make a great gift for the champs lover in your life. Or maybe you’re hosting a New Year’s party this year? Nothing says “Happy New Year” like gold confetti!
Docking Station Organizer
A great gift for practically anyone for keeping everything together and organized.
Smartphone Crossbody Wallet
A great gift for busy moms on the go. I have the Sakroots version of this wallet and I love it. Being out and about with the kids most days, I just don’t want to have to carry around a big purse. This allows me to bring just the essentials, plus it has a wristlet and crossbody strap so you can be hands free. Yes please.
JBL Flip Portable Bluetooth Speaker
A great portable bluetooth speaker that you can bring everywhere – the backyard, beach, camping, wherever.
JBL Clip – mini bluetooth speaker
The baby version of the JBL speaker but in a super portable size. Great for taking to the beach or when you want to pack light.
MagBuddy Wireless Phone Mount
So this is a phone mount for your desk, but I actually use it in my car. (Comes with adhesive strips so you can mount it to the dash.) A great way to keep your phone nearby and hands-free, and you can charge it while you’re on the go. How convenient is that?
Puzzle Mat
This was another recommendation from my friend Jen and I actually have it on my wish list this year! Christmastime is perfect for spending time cozied up at home and doing puzzles. My mom and I both love puzzles so we almost always do one over the holiday break. But if you’re a puzzle lover too, you know what a pain it is to have it take up space on your table or try and find a way to move it. With the puzzle mat, you can just pack it up and move it to another room or slide it under the couch, and voila!
Kids Gift Ideas
Still looking for some creative and non screen-related gift ideas for the kiddos? Here are some of our top picks!
Magnetic Tiles
So much fun and so many possibilities! We’ve had these for a while and they are still in great condition. The boys love these and my 10 year old still plays with them!
Bike Wheel Lights
So cool! Now that it gets dark so early, these are a great way to have fun and stay safe while out riding bikes. There are different colors and patterns to choose from and they look awesome going down the street!
Treasure X
Squishmallow
How do you not love these? Cuddly and squishy goodness all wrapped up in one adorable package.
Pop It
Pop Its are the fidget toy of the season. I don’t know why they are so fun, but trust me, kids love them.
Spot It!
Easy to play for kids of all ages and one of our favorite games.
Sorry!
Another classic game that we have been really enjoying lately.
Crystal Growing Lab
A super fun, science-based educational gift that shows you how to grow all different colors of beautiful crystals. Plus it comes with a cool light-up base.
Terrarium
My youngest son got a terarrium for his birthday and has been enjoying watching his plants grow and watering them everyday. This one (above) is geared more towards girls, but here is the one he has if you are looking for one that is more gender neutral.
Crayola Lightboard
Such a cool gift for the little artist in your life. But really, any kids who like to draw (which is most) will love this!
Marble Run
Marble madness! They have directions you can follow to build different tracks, or you can design your own! It’s so much fun to watch the marbles go through the course and race to the end. There are different sets with more or less pieces, but this is the one we have and it is a great starter set – not too little and not too big.
Mermaid Tail Blanket
These are such a fun, practical and creative gift idea. They have mermaid styles and a shark tail version (below). Too cute!
Shark Tail Blanket
Ready, Set, Shop!
I hope this list helps you take care of a least a couple of the names on your shopping list. (Even if one of those names is yours, wink wink.) So let’s get that shopping taken care of so you can spend less time searching and more time sipping eggnog and watching Hallmark Christmas movies. (Which is what we’d all rather be doing right now, yes?)
Much Love,
Liz
These are great ideas! Thanks Liz! ☺️
You’re so welcome! Glad you like them! 🙂
