Hi, I’m Liz and I’m so happy you’re here!
As a mother of two boys, I started this blog as both a creative outlet and a way to share my journey and experiences over the past 10+ years of raising little humans. As moms, we rely on each other to offer support, advice, and sometimes, to just be a shoulder to lean on when times get tough. I want this to be that place where you can find helpful ideas, advice, and fun & creative solutions.
I love sharing tips and tricks that I have learned, as well as great ideas from other awesome moms. I believe in working smarter, not harder, so if there is a shortcut out there that will help me save time, money, or my sanity (or all of the above!), I will definitely take advantage of it–and share it with you!
I live in San Diego, Ca with my husband Jason, our two boys, Joshua and Evan, and our sweet-but-crazy fur baby, Bailey. Things that make me happy are hanging out with friends and family, drinking wine, traveling, watching movies, reading, dancing, drinking wine (did I say that already?) and exploring the beautiful city of San Diego.
Some fun facts about me…
- I am a night owl who usually stays up too late binge-watching Netflix.
- I prefer warmer weather to cold weather – hello, San Diego!
- My favorite scents are coconut and vanilla.
- Nachos are my kryptonite.
- I am a naturally private person, so writing this blog is a big step out for me!
- Having a messy house stresses me out. There is nothing like the zen of a clean, organized home.
- My love language is Quality Time.
- I am a belly dancer!
- I have a very ecclectic taste in music–everything from Middle-eastern (see above) to 90’s hip hop.
- My kids and family are my life and I absolutely love being a mom!
